How To Access Your Member Profiles,
Update Your Information,
and Upload Images to your Personal Page
|
1. Type in your "Login Name" (user name) above.
Your login name is your member contact name (usually your first and last name) and is not necessarily the name you'll use in the Artist Directory. If you don't remember your user name, search for yourself in the Members Directory. Click on your name and you will see your public information page (artist page). Your login name will be on the last line (in small type). Type this name into the Login Name box above.
2. Enter your “Password”
The password is case-sensitive. If you have forgotten your password, click on the "request new password" button and a new password will be sent to you immediately via email. Note: We will use the email address where you receive your NEMAA email. ***Note about receiving password. Since the password is coming from the website some of your email settings may put it in your “junk or spam mail” folders. Make sure you check those!
3. Members Only page.
Once you are logged in, you may access the "Members Only" page. A link to the Members Only page will appear at the top of the left side of every page on this website as long as you are logged in. On the Members Only page you will see the latest member announcement on the right side and you will have access to all previous announcements.
4. Editing your profile.
At the top of the Members Only page is a link to My Account. Click on this to get to your account page - this is where you can view and enter your personal information. Whenever you want to save changes you've made to your personal information on the My Accounts page you must click on the "Submit Changes" button at the bottom of the page. To change your Login Name or Password you need to type in your current password. The next section is used for information that will be used for the online directory and for the printed Artist Directory.
Please check/update your personal information, and then check to see how you look to the public on your personal Artist page.
5. Uploading an Image.
On the right side of the My Account page you can upload an image from your computer to the NEMAA website. This is typically a picture of artwork or company logo. The picture can be in .jpg or .gif format. Maximum Dimensions for the picture are 300x300 pixels, and the Maximum File Size is 150 KB. Once the picture is uploaded you must hit the "Submit Changes" button to save the picture as part of your profile. This picture will appear next to your name in the online directory, on your personal page, in the printed Artist Directory*, and in the Artist Spotlight slide-show on this website.
*NOTE: All members can have an image posted to their web profile for FREE - but for the image to appear in the printed Artist Directory the member must have paid a $25 fee.
6. Additional Info About You (For Public Viewing)
On the My Account page is an area for you to add a few sentences about yourself and/or your art. Just type into the input box labeled "Additional Information for Public Viewing". Feel free to change this info as often as you like. This area can be used to tell people about special events or other items of interest. For those that are a little more tech-savvy you can use the controls in the box to highlight text (color, bold, underscore), make links to other webpages, or add small images. You can cut and paste into this area from other webpages or documents.
